SRJC was the best thing to happen to me!  I took a bus from NYC at 16 years old to attend the school.  It was a culture shock being in Northern California, yet, I was embraced by the students, faculty and staff.  SRJC allowed me the comfort of the small dorms, the theatre department and the student government.  I was involved in almost every aspect of student life.  Working in the planetarium and managing the international music series.  I had the best time of my life!  SRJC faculty cared about me and was encouraging in my academics.  I excelled.  Fast forward, I attended Harvard University after receiving two degrees from the University of Missouri and attending law school in Boston.  I attribute my academic success to my early years at SRJC, for, the love of learning and community were instilled in me.  Forever in my heart ❤️❤️❤️
